My Peerless Mother

I frequently envisage my nonage, mom.

I am a mother now, and so I understand 

Hard work is associated with the amusement;

You enlightened that when you upraised me way back when.

I conceive all the things you offered to me:

Oblation, steadfastness, love and tears,

Your heart, your mind, your vitality and soul...

All these you expended on me throughout the years.

You adored me with an infallible and consistent love

You accorded me vigour and gratifying safety,

And then you accomplished the hardest thing of all:

You let me discrete and liberated me.

Every day I attempt my best to be

A mother, like the mom you were to me.
