My Dear Poetry
My Dear Poetry
My dear poetry
I wanted to play with you today
But I was scared.
Since you have very high standard they say.
I don't know how to write even a single verse,
And also I don't know, how to fit in tricky heavy words.
Oh please, oh please !!!!!
My dear lady named Poetry,
Please sing in your nigh tangled voice
To explain “this” to me, a novice.
The lub-dub machine inside my chest,
Urged me to let it soar high in the skies of imagery,
And Boom !!!! It blasted like a balloon.
The moment I found, around your castle,
Fences of Poetic devices frozen.
The desire to play and dance with You,
Oh Beauty of the Universe,
Stands like a cold fire now in my thoughts,
Making my mind go numb
And burning the soul into flames, both at the same time.
Since you have very high standard they say.
And I, don't know how to write even a single verse.
Oh My dear poetry,
I wanted to play with you today.
But I leave now from your castle's arch,
Just wishing silently in my heart,
For that one moment
When you will hold my hand like my lover
And whisper in my ears
“Stay !!! Allow me to be friend with you,
Dance, sing and laugh with you,
May be You and May be I, then
Will someday understand and for each other, fall in love.
Or let’s say, Rise in love.
I do not have standards so high.
It’s just the purity and innocence
I long for in your heart.
And when you have “it" inside you,
You are no more a novice
But a chest deep in the ocean to feel
Where I like to hide.”
Oh, My lovely Poetry,
I wanted to play with you today
But I was scared.
Since, as per they say, you have standards very high.
