My Bete Noire

Life is full of experiences,

Some are sweet and some are sour,

People become our friends,

Then completely forgets about us,

Sometimes they behave badly with us,

Sometimes they do bad things to us,

We feel that they are the bete noire of our lives,

We hate them with full intensity,

One day we realise that we have become just like them,

Instead of taming the wild beasts in the outside world,

It is better we deal courageously with our inner demons,

Let's become our own true friend before calling someone our nemesis or bete noire.
