A mute call it was,

Picked by a deaf,

None to hear or speak,

A communication,

Blunt and direct,

Yet so important,

Sign language as though,

Still only telephonic,

With a telepathic presence,

The message was delivered.

They said it was a sound,

Of silence, 

A communication,

Of the privileged,

To understand,

The unspoken.
