Moon And Mine
Moon And Mine
For the winters are here
But this winter I have nothing to fear,
From the days so shallow
To the nights so deep,
Cuddled by your sturdy hands
Its warmth kissing my eyelashes,
Your love waves adieu
To the day’s haste,
The time winking at you
Is never felt to be of waste,
Every lonely moment of past
You seem to undo by your own chaste
Every expectation
That had drowned before,
You honour them with a life support
Creating a new score.
A score of love so infinite,
Of which I had never thought
In this life’s insight,
The gift forever of a peaceful night
Painting lovely colours on
Pages black and white.
