Cute Stripey is grey and shy

Bold Casper is orange and always high

Territorial Independent Aggressive and Playful

All characteristics of a big cat tightly jam-packed

Locked up in their three-bedroom flat

No wonder all call them Pussy Cat

Sitting near the front door watching the world go by

I wonder having them as pets are justifiable by

Stripey won't let me pet him as he runs to hide

Casper compensates by sitting on my lap

They shed their fur as they go about purr purr

For a clean freak, it can be a murmur

Using a litter box they are a civilized lot

They surely bring joy to everyone around

Going about their lives doing things they like

Their antics, however, fascinates the human

In spite of being most evolved and smartest of all

For Casper and Stripey the world being so small

They care less who is dumb and smart after all
