Memories

I write to remember that 

Memories are only memories. 

There's no proof of their existence, 

Until they're shared with other souls. 

As I watch while other people write, 

People I'll never know or meet, 

I sit by myself and wonder 

If in reality, we are trying 

To connect to people, 

Or to memories.
