Mask her Pink
Mask her Pink
She was like an oncoming spring,
Beautiful meadows of carnations,
Cheeks blushed cherry blossom,
Lips blowing bubblegum.
Twinkling, playful eyes
adorned with Magenta lens
Underlined with something predatory
As she gazed across the fence
Her will, stronger than iron,
Her eyes shone with love.
For her family, her friends
Feminine as Aphrodite’s dove.
Her love is as fierce as her will.
Her eyes, like a ship about to sink
Beloved and cherished by all
They all Mask her Pink.
