Low Look

Sometimes I want to be invisible,

 To avoid other people looking at me strangely,

 I can't retaliate for staring at me,

I can't stare at them for long.

 If I were just like them,

I would not look miserable,

 I would feel surrounded by a mirror,

Which would describe how low I am. 

 So I just ignored them,

I continued my journey,

With the cynical look that made me successful in life,

 The former look that pushed you down,

Now replaced by admiration.
