A regular day like any other just came

We carried on like it was all the same

What it brought upon us was unknown

Prepared not we were, for the bemoan

Shaken thoroughly, we were numbed

Situation such, we simply succumbed

A mystery to us always it will remain

Normal as you were, 

what could've triggered the unchain?

The void caused by your sudden death

Can never be filled in length or breadth

Yes, we do trudge along with each day 

Your memories held dear in a special way

Now, though incomplete is how we feel

We are on to keep steering lives' wheel

'We miss you', is the straightforward fact

For the bond was 'love' and not any contract.
