LOST

My heart's all set, it has come to peace,

For I know he no longer seeks me.

The one I cared for all this long,

Has forgotten those times, has forgotten that haul.

The ecstasy to be one another's,

The solace imparted, to each other.

That time spent laughing and hugging together,

The long journeys to hold his hand and flutter.

The hours spent in restlessness, crying for his pain.

To make efforts so as to share his despair.

Those moments and those long talks,

I miss that time, but it is all gone.

He is with me, but seems not at all.

I am trying to find him, my long lost pal.
