Lost Us
Lost Us
I peeked out through the window.
Light rain and those wind blow,
Wrapped in cold breeze..
They slumped with
The chords of my mind,
That left me with
Nostalgic memories!
I was engulfed with a
rivulet of souvenir.
To the left,
Our mischievous but
Serene moments' flash,
Sitting at last benches and
Sharing those sandwiches
During our maths class..
To the right,
Those scary night.
Our worse fights,
Wet pillo
ws, that carried
My feeble tears and deafen cries.
To the centre,
Sitting at the shore,
You and I, hand in hand..
Our bond was meant
To last till the sea's end..
Till the mountains' rise..
Meanwhile, I am just like
Those sparkles in this wide sky..
Like appealing beauty of that firefly,
Who tries to lighten the world,
Fighting the darkness.
But whom should I illuminate?
I had no world to emit light
I lost us.
