Loneliness

Laughter was murdered
On the royal road,
Fear of the heart was crowned emperor,
To rule with absolute tyranny.

The land was abandoned,
And loneliness was made the owner of sky-kissing skyscrapers.
The night was conquered,
The sky was claimed,
And the rights of the stars were forcefully taken away.

An award was received,
Its name etched in the history of distances.
In the city of words,
Sometimes it loved with words,
And sometimes it deceived with them.
