Light The Lamp

Light the lamp of the mind with the heart,

Celebrate the bright-lit Diwali,

Decorate the houses of the rich and the poor;

Glittering Diwali is seen by the poor, 

The doorway is empty,

Bursting crackers go up in the sky,

How can the rocket burst?

How can you feel that Diwali is aunty, whose money is empty,

How will the poor be able to eat on Diwali,

When they are poor, they do their own bidding.

Always running away from the door of the rich,

Then how could the poor celebrate Diwali,

The lamps are also sitting there on the multi-storey,

The lights have started to recognize firecrackers,

The same firecrackers burst the rich,

If one fills the poor, the stomach that best wishes his Diwali thousands,

The lamp will be lit, if the hungry naked in the world will get bread,

Clothes will be filled with blessings, will fill the soul with new light,

Lying on the pavements, rotting every day,

The rings of life are decorated every day,

Which lamp will be lost,

Do not know when the day is there,

Thoughts become constrained.
