Why? With all this, you began drifting away

I lied I was fine

When my heart was only nine

'It would have been better if you were here with me'

the only declaration that echoed my mind

You asked me was it fine to go

'I would be fine if I was alone'

I again gulped a lie

the eyes with anger yet survived

With all your prodigal returnings

I would accept my prodigal fate

I continued gulping my world inside and went on

With all those stories you flew far away

Was it your inability to understand or mine to express?

And I kept lying

Not knowing was it for you or me.
