Let's Clap

Life is a stage

And yes, we're not the ones

Seating amongst the crowd in the auditorium

We are the ones performing,

Performing plays...

Some do applaud and some criticize

Some do value us and some just ignore

No matter whether we are World Boxing Champion

Or Miss Universe.

No matter whether we struggle to get there

or follow the heirarchy.

Those echoes of the crowd won't end.

How will they know what it takes to be standing there before the world?

How will they know what it takes to be facing those spotlights?

Let them be, in their way

Or else how would we have attained such heights

And continue to be brave in this long run?

So let us keep going and going and going

Until it's us clapping and admiring

For the ones who comes next to us

Even if someone from that crowd

who criticized

Cause when you spread love

It comes back.

Cause it's not just about you and me in the end.
