Let Go

If you are not letting go

Just because you are still in love,

But, are being ripped apart

And your soul's being tormented,

You would only end up

Destroying your very being.

For, letting go has never meant,

You failing in your relationship

Or destroying that love,

Giving up on it, which had been

So very precious in your life,

For at least some time.

It's about giving yourself space

Which your soul needs and,

Your mind has been declining,

For quite some time. It's about

Being in love with someone

Yet, making an effort to make

Your soul feel loved, again. Letting go

Does not mean you do not love anymore,

It means that being together

Has deprived you of that happiness

For which you had been with someone.

And if the cost of being together

Costs you your mental peace

Your well being, your happiness,

And if so, you simply cannot make them happy.

Let go of them for the sake of love,

For the sake of

All of those beautiful moments

You have shared.

Let go of them for yourself.
