Where mountains kiss the sky and clouds float by

The Sun emerges from hiding, dark orange and shining bright

So tempting to reach out, to hold it and caress it

A sweet lollipop unwrapped to be sucked and licked

Within seconds it turned white, lighting up all life high

What a beautiful sight to see, in all its might

Trees desperately trying to reach out to it

While the shrubs unfurl their flowers to attract it

Bees buzzing with gay have a field day

Monkeys’ antics amaze, which pays for their maize

From afar the lakes look blue, the color of hue

Tiny birds awakened, start chirping and fly

Valleys everywhere with forests and farms to stare

Wild animals lie in waiting for the Sun to set

The smells the sights, in heaven I was

I wish to live here, rather let my soul search the sky
