Knight Of Roses
Knight Of Roses

The knight of roses it is I,
Longing for my rose, my love, and life
Where have you been oh rose of mine
Why go away and leave me behind
It used to be a perfect harmony
I lean on you and you lean on me
Together we lived like a splendid melody
Our cascading love of such serendipity
Our love was higher than the heavens above
But such a trial has asundered you my love
The seraphs and beasts envied you and me
And so they took you, leaving me stilled like a tree.
I pray to God to give you back to me
Oh my rose, you are someone I long to see
You are my rhythm, my song, my symphony
I know we'll be reunited, soon hopefully.
