Kings of all Sonnets
Kings of all Sonnets
Unglued with three stanzas and the couplet
Fourteen lines, ten syllables of each
Rhymes ABAB in my heart when I write
Then I want the position of the sound to catch
Romeo and Juliet, the dialog of conflict
Lips did well for love of her to beseech
Kissing in the shrine, and ignoring the past
Accusing our sin, our enemy impeach
Then, both wanted to wend as a tourist
To an abbey, it was a pilgrim, to preach
Juliet asked Saints for holy interest
There was love and the place was rich
O! sonnet of the great man, Shakespeare
Still, now it has beloved, I wonder.
