Keyhole
Keyhole
I was locked in a shady, dire expanse,
Disquieted I stood, having thrown away all my valiance,
I went to a dusty corner, sat down and whimpered for long,
Until I found three keys to my side .
Dust embedded , they looked antiquated and crumbling
But I found them a sign of felicity ,
I picked up all three, and stood up ,
With the surmise of freedom strengthening me ,
The first key broke in my hands,
And my heart jerked for a second,
Yet, I went on and tried the second ,which did not fit ,
And the third one kept suspense till the end, but did not give away,
I was distraught, and dolorous, cooped up and scared,
Then I saw a piece of wood and chisel and an end,
I made my own key and paved my dispensation
And finally moved towards the light .
