Joint Family

We are a nuclear family

We live in the city

We lived in the village

We were joint family

We lost our culture

We are urbanized

We hate joint family

We have selfishness

We have the excuse of money issue

We have the excuse of a life

How past people lived their lives in a joint family

We forget all of these.

We aim high

We expect high

We forget our neighbours

We forget our brothers

We forget our sisters

We are busy with careers

We can not even talk

We say we are busy

We give excuse

But we are not busy at all

We just love to avoid them

We know our nature

We love to be separated

We love to be alienated

We are doing nothing

We love to compete

We do not know what we are doing.

We lead a life with peace

We lead a life with stubbornness

We live a life losing our village culture

We die at home 

We find nobody to help

We die dread

We die with the word

Alas!

What a dreadful life!
