Into The Feeling

Into The Feeling

Behind the shadow of the night,

I'm so confused, I'm trembling with fright;

Amidst the fury and the scars,

I hope I still have what was ours.

With shame as deep as the breath I take,

The remorse is so great, amends I try to make;

The pain, I know, is too much to bear,

Oh! How I long her voice to hear.

The glimpse of her impeccable untrodden smile;

It still is worth to grab, and all the while,

Words she said, are echoing still,

Yet the silence no one can fill.

Among the stars, she shines the most,

Beneath the memories she ponders, I suppose;

True to the heart my all I give,

The absence is too great, it’s not easy to live.

Oh! Beautiful smile, angel of mine,

Where thy art heart I will try to find,

Hands so soft and hair so bright;

My feelings are dim, please shine thy light.

For all that’s worth, for all that counts;

For heaven’s sake, together we are bound,

Her voice as sweet as the song she sings,

God’s gift to me in person he brings.

Trembling and shaking are the thoughts so far,

But all these vanishes when she would whisper,

In my ears, my dreams, my vision, that covers;

If only she’s willing to start all over.

We sleep, we dream, we laugh, we share,

It’s hard to let go, nor would I dare;

Her vision so alive I cannot do without,

I guess she’s had it, no reason or doubt.

But all I know from deep within,

My baby’s gone, gone with the wind;

Wherever you are, whatever you do,

Don’t you dare forget, I belong to you.

I used to think with no sense of fear,

That she would be the one and she is my dear,

For as long as my conscience could reason and carry;

My dear my all, it’s you I wanna marry.
