In this one life
In this one life
In this one life
I want to be a butterfly
Even for a while if not more
I would celebrate divinity of love
Both the rough patches
And alluring heights
I would deal with equanimity
Deeply embrace each episode
As the butterfly embraces and caresses
The process of metamorphosis
With ease and fervor
For... I need to evolve
With each passing day
Prove my mettle
And be the best version of self
I shall not discriminate between humans
As the butterfly does not deal in such way with flowers
From God's garden they are
And each is special for sure
I am fortunate to be alive
Feel the pulse of humanity
Assuage their hurt
They are my God connect
Like blooms to a butterfly
Source of exuberance for a butterfly
Is life itself
Taking a cue...
I too shall leave no room to rue
Frown less smile more
For this one life is a gift from God
Calls for celebration.
