In Search Of Mother
In Search Of Mother
When the sun descends in the west
And the cloak of darkness spreads
Away in a small room, in the bright moon
Held in his hand a beautiful piece of sand
Stands a boy staring at the sky.
He asks then to the Savior of all
With tears in eye, but a dim bright smile
O God, where is my Mother ?
When the winter kisses the earth
And the snow covers miles for even more
And the sky becomes extremely sore
Just like a cloud on a doubtful round
The boy looks at the Heavens, with a blanket in hand
Dear God, is my Mother cold...
When the monsoons arrive,
And the nature sheds its tears
Again with an umbrella in hand,
And a hope in heart never to end
Stands amidst the green fields
The boy asks the trees
Can you give this to my mother
Wherever she is?
When again the sun is bright
And spring comes to the sight
And the Nature dances to the tune of the birds
The curious little boy,
Jovial and filled with joy
Waits for the arrival of his mother...
The days pass by, the weeks fly away,
And the passing years make the boy grow
But still with a smile and curiosity for miles
He wait for his mother's soul...
The boy is now on the streets
But still with a divine meek
Asking the passer for some food
Give me some water or some bread
Is that he cries to..
But the passer by, with not even a sigh
Refuse his cry for the good..
The boy at night,
Again with tears in eyes
Shivers in the cold and coughs
But still he stands and waits
Near the window pane
Searching for his mother's sight......
