Abstract

If There's God

If There's God

I prayed, I begged, I worshipped

Yet there's no answer, no help.

The pain caused me to ask

About the words in my heart

Is there really a God?

If there's a God why did He create death?

Because death is so random and unfair

The criminals thrive whilst the innocents die.

If there's a God why did He create religion?

For the most religious isn't the one with highest morales.

For there are people who don't pray but worship humanity,

For there are people who pray everyday yet make us kill each other.

If there's a God why did He create so many differences?

For the it is the thieves sitting on thrones of diamond and gold,

But the ones from whom it was stolen are crying even for a grain.

Maybe I would never get the answers,

Maybe I would .

Uncertain, unseen, unpredictable conundrum

We are all but puppets to

The God about whom we all argue.
