Fairy tales taught me once, Love story surely comes, Reckoning on the pleasure, I awaited and awaited, But love story didn't knock my gate, I sat by the sea shore thinking:- If I too had a love story, "I would have argued with him, For stealing the last slice of pizza, I would have teased him, For putting on extra weight, I would have blamed him, For leaving the shower on, I would have slept with comfort, Five minutes more than him, I would have stolen coins from his shirts' pocket, To pay for the Netflix subscription, I would have hidden his blanket, Just to cuddle like a sweet couple, I would have battled for the remote, Just to watch my favorite show, I would have re-lived my childhood, With my beloved, I would have gazed him with the same naughtiness, every time he wore a kurta, I would have giggled, Watching him experimenting the kitchen, I would have felt home, When he and I would be alone, I would have felt complete, Even though an argument with him comes to me as a defeat.
