The Monster Called Love
The Monster Called Love
Somewhere deep beneath,
His insides still burns,
Burns from the deeds of his past.
Somewhere deep inside,
The heart lets out
A silent shriek:
Every now and then.
Somewhere deep beneath,
The memories create
A dark clogged puddle
In his arteries.
Somewhere deep beneath,
The pain surges through
His nerves,
Bringing in a tsunami of black emotions
Yet,
Deep beneath,
In those very dark chambers:
Resides she.
Calm, composed, elegant, beautiful.
Jet black hair,
Tops and faded jeans.
Nose ring.
Ruler of his dark world.
She embraces him daily.
Calms his volcanic emotions.
Tames the monster in him.
The very monster:
Which betrayed her trust,
Ravaged her soul,
Set fire to her down pouring passion !
Calm, composed, elegant, beautiful.
Jet black hair,
Tops and faded jeans.
Nose ring.
Ruler of his dark world.......
Memories. Pain. Betrayal. Tears.
Cigarette, alcohol, lights off.
"Love", they say.
