If I Could Steal

Dear highlander, to have a break from 

Hustle and bustle of life,

I'm here....

I admit that I envy with

Your serene surroundings,

Spreading silence,

Kingdom of peace,

Bountiful of nature.

We too have jungle

But it's concrete,

We too breathe air

But not so clean,

We too have heights

But not mountains,

We too see waterfalls

But in manmade fountains...

What if I could get

A handful of nature,

As a souvenir 

When I departure?

Few waterfalls

And few snow peaks,

Flora and fauna,

Clean air to breathe.

In exchange for the modernization

Can we have a deal!

Or when I go back from the

Himalayan trip,

A handful of you if I could steal!

Since I am rich

Just with glamour,

And you are rich 

With nature!!
