I Pray And Pray

Never in my life, I felt sorry

That I had aged so much

But today I feel so saddened

That I had become so old

If I was still younger like others

I would have gone on the road

Help the desperate, suffering people

Could have helped in many ways

I could have cooked food and feed

I could have helped with mask, medicine

I could have donated plasma or blood

I could have adopted orphaned children

But like a caged animal I sit alone

Watching the dance of death around

All that I can do is, just to pray and pray

Oh God, save my country, save the lives.
