I Do Acknowledge!
I Do Acknowledge!
I Do Acknowledge
The great contribution of Sri P.P. Tripathi, our English Language teacher
Who used to teach us in Class VI Way back in the late 80s in K.V. ARC, DOOM DOOMA (ASSAM).
I still remember...
His extra guidance
Regarding TENSES during the tiffin break.
As I was
One of the most obedient, sober, simple and down-to-earth students In my class,
All the teachers used to
Love and care for me
In a very special way.
And I really appreciate
Their selfless teaching
In those days...
Sir Tripathi used to teach us
In a very elaborate manner.
He had a unique style of explanation.
His method of storytelling
Was superb!
Whenever he used to explain
A fiction or a poem,
I happened to divulge deep
Into the ocean of undisturbed and Focused thought processes!
Of course, he used to make us
Feel at home in our classroom; There was no urgency in taking
A short break to go to the urinal
Or lavatory, especially during his period.
Those were the days,
When I used to feel enthusiastic And energetic to reach school on foot
From my father's official quarter.
Incomparable to today's students' Extra dependence on private vehicles,
I happened to enjoy my walk
From our quarter to school.
Sir Tripathi was also quite strict
as a teacher
When it required to be extra cautious
Regarding students' discipline and punctuality.
Once I had childishly said 'No'
to him
When I was in Class VIII
While he ordered me to fetch him
A chair outside, on the ground during recess.
I was canned once
For disobeying him unknowingly. But I am preserving his punishment As my matchless award to date.
Today I am a SIKSHAK KARYAKARTA of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, DHEMAJI (ASSAM).
I contribute my 'SEVA' as an English Language Teacher
With apt attention and sincerity.
It is evident that
No one is perfect in this world,
Yet I try my best
To follow up on his valuable words,
As he is still my 'Guru'.
I am sure, he must have retired From his service.
Though I have
No contact with him to date,
Yet my utmost prayers are
Always there for him.
I do believe wherever he may be today,
May he remain safe and happy.
Last but not least,
I offer my 'PRANAM' to him.
I just want to salute him
And say, "I remain ever grateful
To you, Dear Sir.
Whatever I am today
Is only because of your Extraordinary mentoring and honest monitoring."
