Floods repeatedly cause large-scale loss
Of valuable life, crops, grains, livestocks,
Homes, roadways and embankments.

Floods and erosion being uncertain and severe
Turns the flood-affected zone
Into an unending bane
For all living things..

Floods become a threat To farmlands and settlements.
