I Am Not Alone
I Am Not Alone
I know I am not alone.
I know,
When I count the tapping
Of my toes,
I hear the silence breaking
Down,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I touch the first drop of rain
On my forhead,
It excites me to play
Outside,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When the first bud of fruit
Bears out.
It gives hope of growing from
The days like drought,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I throw a stone in water,
It ripples and sounds
Just like a friend chattering by side,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I feed the puppies and
Kittens at night,
Their wagging tails and
Sticky tongues out
Reminds me of my little brother
Sometimes,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I cover the puddle with
Paper boats by the pavement,
It cues to heal the wounds of solitary,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I meet a person with
Good nature,
Their words and thoughts
Push me to write,
The stories and poetries
Completes the desk of my house,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When the tiny bird hits
My window pane with its beak,
It reminds me of my
Neighbors knocking the door for a
The company on the terrace at night
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I notice my hairs
Blowing in the air
The wind chimes begin to tinkle loud
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I sometimes cry or fight,
The tears from the eyes
Touches my lips,
I feel being loved at night,
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I arrange the books
On shelf,
The covers attract me
To open them wide,
The author's picture or prologue they write,
Makes me cry or sometimes smile
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know,
When I count the stars at night
Then sees the moon alone far sight,
He stares at me, I stare at him,
We stare at each other in dark nights
And I know I am
Not alone.
I know.
