I Am A Poet

I am not a poet of jargons,

Born with the silver spoon,

I am not a poet of dragons

Torn with media’s moon,

I am not a poet of literature,

Made of linguistic criticism,

I am not a poet of legacy,

Containing jeans of historic baptism,

I am not a poet of a kingdom,

 Liquidating monetary clouds,

I am not a poet of boredom,

Restless thoughts that shroud 

 

But,

I am a poet of fire,

Burning the notions of normality,

I am a poet by desire,

Setting the obviousness on casualty 

I am a poet of dreams,

Fighting time through defunct swords,

I am a poet by passion,

Writing my legacy through gallant words.
