Hope and Sunshine

Hope and sunshine are two of my favourite companions,

Be it an adverse weather or a perilous reunion,

My heart has never felt dismayed or bruised.

I lift myself from all sad hues,

Garnering rays of sunshine to bathe my old soul and anew.

Agonising pain bites plenty of times, 

Courage is alwsys rewarded and that's when life makes me feel alive.

I open my palms to feel the sunshine and wipe my tears,

It's like an instant magical suppression to all my lingering dark fears.
