Holy Blood

Holy Blood

2 mins
198

The purest form of blood that bleeds

Every month with full loyalty and feels

The only blood that flows without violence

That holds a new life in its silence

The blood that is blessed by God

As it is the only blood that flows by his nod

The blood that carries with it a bundle of emotions

As its flow for the first time signifies promotion

The blood that is sacred

But unfortunately recieves hatred

For its very occurence during the month

Makes the society towards the bleeder, blunt

Every other blood that flows

Is potrayed as a symbol of heroes

The other blood is talked about openly with the head held up high

But the mere fact that a girl is in her periods, recieves a sigh

She is barred from entering temples and kitchens

And is not even allowed to touch the pickles

Thanks to the fickle-minded society of ours

That tried to curb the menses' power

But the beauty of this blood can't be blurred

As it is apparently God's own blood

The blood that makes a woman a different breed

And makes her stronger everytime she bleeds

The blood that gives her mood swings

Strengthens her and fuels her wings

The blood that makes her pure

And the blood that makes her the creator of all

The blood that makes her a queen

As she bleeds like a warrior in her superwoman's week

The blood that makes her believe in herself and facilitate

FOR every time SHE MENSTRUATES, SHE CREATES.....
