Her Moon
Her Moon
Everything was dark,
The crows cried,
Branches leafless,
Blood moon night,
She sat there,
Looking at the moon
Telling it, how pretty it was,
How big it was
How much alive it seems,
She was in love,
She was loved,
She greeted it,
She cried on the day it went missing,
She celebrated its presence
Moon was all she needed,
To make her smile,
To make her live,
In the hopeless, dark and ugly world,
She was destined to live.
She sat there, on her balcony,
The cold wind made her shiver,
The dark clouds brought thunder,
Yet she didn’t leave,
She sat there,
Whole night,
Slowly the clouds moved,
A light came,
The moon came,
She smiled,
She wiped her tears
At last, she fell asleep.
