On 15th August everyone would say;

"Happy happy Independence Day!"

We stand straight in front of India Gate,

Celebrating the soldiers proud fate.


With heads and shoulders, knees and toes,

Unity and strength always grows.

India's tricolor - orange, white and green

Are raised high above; everywhere to be seen!


Let us all celebrate this National Day,

With fun, determination and with something to play!

'HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY'
