Happy Father's Day, Dad
Dear Dad, I miss you more than words can ever say,
Yet your lessons guide my every step each day.
I still remember that little bicycle ride,
When you stood beside me with love and pride.
The servant held the cycle day after day,
But fear and doubt never went away.
Then you took charge with a knowing smile,
And taught me courage in your own style.
You pretended your hands were holding me tight,
While secretly letting me find my flight.
I rode ahead, so happy and free,
Until I turned back—and you weren't with me.
I stumbled and fell, with tears in my eyes,
But you taught me then that strength never dies.
"Nothing is impossible if you truly try,"
Those words became my wings to fly.
Today, when storms and hardships appear,
I do not surrender, I do not fear.
You raised me not merely as a princess adored,
But as a queen, resilient and strong at heart.
You showered me with love, care, and grace,
And filled my world with warmth and embrace.
You taught me that books are treasures untold,
That knowledge is wealth more precious than gold.
You taught me honesty, honour, and truth,
Values that have guided me since my youth.
You showed me that love can conquer all,
And those who rise by pushing others eventually fall.
Dad, I am blessed beyond measure to be your daughter,
A gift from Heaven I could never barter.
Though I cannot hold your hand today,
Your love still lights my every way.
Keep watching over me from above,
Surrounding my life with your endless love.
Forever in my heart, forever my guide,
With your blessings beside me, I walk with pride.
