“Woman” — the word itself speaks volumes.
She gives birth to men… yet somewhere, her voice feels lost.
People speak endlessly about equality, rights, and well-being —
But tell me, should her worth still be a topic of discussion?

She plays a thousand roles with grace,
A pillar of strength, compassion, and resilience,
Standing tall for her rights, her dignity, her place.
Should this still be a subject of discussion?

She nurtures homes, drives growth, fuels progress,
Yet she needs movements and marches
To challenge stereotypes, to demand justice.
Should this still be a subject of discussion?

A man respects his mother —
Then why not his wife?
He honours trailblazing women of history,
Yet ignores the one who stands beside him every day.
Should this still be a subject of discussion?

We cheer women who inspire the world —
Their courage, their fire, their fearless hearts…
But why do we overlook the woman
Who stands by us in every moment of struggle?
Should this still be a subject of discussion?

Why are women treated like tea bags —
Tested in boiling water to prove their strength?
Why don’t mothers teach their sons
To uplift their wives, honour their efforts,
And protect them with courage, not control?
Should this still be a subject of discussion?

Why can’t men help women break barriers,
Shatter stereotypes, carve their own success?
If men and women are equal,
Where are her equal opportunities to thrive, to rise, to shine?
Why does she still fear challenging norms
And embracing her own identity?
Should this still be a subject of discussion?

The greatest gift a woman can receive
Is a man standing beside her saying,
“I trust you. You can. Go for it.”

Happy Women’s day to all!
