Son, life for me was never a bed of roses,
No soft carpet under my feet in life’s toughest phases.
But your little smiles became my strength, my fire,
Pushing me forward, lifting me higher.

My hands were always busy earning day and night,
Trying to give you both a future warm and bright.
I missed some stories, your laughs and tiny noise,
And suddenly your toys were replaced by big phones, my boys.

Yet I still held on to memories, tender and sweet,
Moments that made my tired heart skip a beat.
I wish I could’ve given you a world free of strife,
A smoother journey… a softer life.

Life is short, and I don’t know how long I’ll stay,
One day Mumma will have to quietly walk away.
But whether I’m near or far, or worlds apart,
I’ll always live in your soul, your mind, your heart.

My little boys will soon grow into wonderful men —
Respect your partners, be kind again and again.
You’ve made me proud with trophies, courage, and grace,
And wiped my tears with love shining on your face.

Time has changed — once you clung to me in fear,
Now you hold me gently, keeping me near.
Thank you, my handsome boys, for all that you do…
My heart beats stronger because of you.
