Happiness, A Choice

Happiness, A Choice

I'm sitting in my house,

A friend of mine came,

I told my wife to serve tea,

We had two friends in hand with tea.

"How are you"? Asks my Friend,

My child and schoolmate, at Puri settled.

He is doing business,

My profession is Advocacy.

What is good to me,

Seemed funny to him.

As we have different perceptions in life's journey,

I am fighting for rights being revolutionary.

My happiness is fighting for People,

Rejoice myself winning the case of the right people.

My friend has joy, gaining the money,

By any means, gain is a hobby for him only.

Happiness depends on each choice,

Irrespective of whether one works more or less

And get more or less.

I look at the way things are today,

Money, money race what was not yesterday.

I am thinking deep inside myself,

And seeking answers that may help

The future is out of reach,

What is needed to make life happier?

We live each moment,

Giving our life a chance for the moment.

Why not enjoy the life with love,

Forgetting grief for not getting things in time,

Better love to laugh, be sure to dance.

As happiness is inside the soul,

Nothing is lost or gained, it is for all.

A right step at the right time of each choice,

Will help to find happiness in life.

Today one is in sorrow,

Who knows future would

Bring joy tomorrow!
