Today and everyday 

I am grateful 

For the sunshine and the moonlight 

For the trees and the grass outside

For the roads and the bridges that we have built 

But during this crisis 

Today and every day 

I am grateful 

To the warriors who risk their lives for us

Selflessly serving the world

Today I am grateful

To the ones who stay indoors 

And continue to do their chores

And help to bring back the life

We once had before 

Today and every day 

I am grateful to god

That even though he is away 

He has given doctors to show us our way 

Today and every day 

I will always be grateful 

To the ones with a stethoscope 

And the one above to show us a ray of hope.
