Grandpa

O' Grandpa you were the only one who genuinely cared,

Without you I feel very scared.

With you I have lost a part of Myself,

I couldn't even bid you a proper farewell.

I am sorry for everything I once did,

But I was then just a small Kid.

I still feel that everything is just a Bad Dream

And I would wake up from it with a scream.

I still wish that you would wake me up with a glass of milk in your hand,

I promise I will get up in a second.

You just left me during the time of my exams

And I couldn't even morn on my loss 

Next morning I got up like nothing happened,

Because I promised you that I'll be happy at the end .

Now whenever I wish to talk to you,

I just go up on the terrace and those shining stars give me a feeling that you are always present.

But sometimes I still thing that it is all a Bad Dream,

And I would wake up to find you sitting besides me with my favorite icecream.
