God Is There Always

It so happens that once in your lifetime,

You will have a chance to encounter God,

It goes unnoticed you are very busy,

God smiles, goes away, says another day;

you will not miss God, God will miss you.

For that is the way things are,man goes far,

God comes closer,man goes further.

Then when trouble comes looking for him;

He goes looking for God, opening his heart,

Crying out his troubles, seeking him always

keeping vows, keeping fast, following ritual.

God looks at his creation, wonders why?

Is he following me, when he has other gods?

His cell phone, laptops, video games.

They are his new gods' they never fail him;

Visible,always in his sight, His life revolves,

Around these gadgets, omnipresent.

God Smiles, says, when your life fails; you

think of me, you make the promise of vows,

To keep fast, to follow all rituals, I Can hear

your helpless cry, I can see your fear.

But trust me, I am always with you,

I am always nearby, within reach, its true.
