Friendship

Friendship is magic, 

It saves us from everything tragic. 

It gives us company, 

Friends always accompany. 

Staunch(meaning of staunch: always loyal in supporting a person or organization)friends help us in need, 

We need friends in almost every deed. 

They always enliven our spirits when we are sad

And sometimes make us good from the bad. 

One cannot be happy and jovial(meaning of jovial: cheerful and friendly) without friends, 

So one should make at least a few friends. 

Friends aid us in everything, 

So we need not ask for anything. 

They stand by our thick and thin(meaning of thick and thin: all obstacles) all night and day, 

And always show us the right way. 

Everybody should have true friends forever, 

So that they may not have false friends ever.
