Fraternal Twins

The fraternal twins, heart, and mind born,

With no fear, the heart becomes a dominant sibling,

And with time, the mind gets raised by heart.

Though they are siblings, their belief system differs.

Heart believes in emotions and is sensitive,

Mind believes in reality and logic.

The war, between the two, never ends.

In the stages of life, sometimes

Heart wins and convenes mind,

At other time, mind consoles the heart.

Though, they are not identical in personality,

Their love for each other remains strong.

With time, the mind loses health, and the heart becomes a lonely,

Its, the time when their succeeding generation's heart and mind

Needs to give attention to them,

As both of them are in need of affection and not logic.
