Forevermore: beneath the sea
Forevermore: beneath the sea
In the depths of the golden sea,
I saw myself as an invincible force;
Questioning myself if I’ll ever be,
Living to see forevermore.
I drowned and survived, I born and die,
The springs and summers, I admonished;
I lived to breathe, and with misery ply,
And in harsh winters, I flourished.
I sigh and lived, in the darkness I worshipped,
And fell hopelessly for the lies;
And with hatred I disgusted the truth,
And never came to shore in sight.
Now I’ll weep to the passers-by,
As long as I’ll live to do it for;
I stand on the shore and leave longing cries,
I don’t know if I’ll survive, forevermore.
