Forbidden Fruit

Sometimes we walk blindly with eyes open

We keep smelling the poison and being glad about it

We are dying softly without knowing

Swimming in the mistakes not knowing are mistakes

We are addicted to killing ourselves

We keep promising ourselves the better tomorrow

But that tomorrow we are waking up on our losing side

The effect of the forbidden fruit growing

The seed planted now rejoicing the harvest

That is the point you can’t believe you are a fool again

Sometimes love is not meant to pass our way

Maybe it is not there to stay

You may think you have one

But the result of the test turns out to be a failure

Love the poison we drink happily

At some point, I wonder if money is love

It is hard to find the one with pockets yawning

It turns out now feelings and trust are bought

The forbidden fruit indeed taking its place

We live seeking heartbreaks to our souls
