Fly

Touching places that are forbidden,

Catastrophic, staying hidden;

Shoulder's heavy with guilt,

Destroying everything she built;

Scared for her sanity, 

Empty, no vanity;

Engulfing every thought she ever had;

Crying, Angry, Laughing, Mad.

Covering up the cracks and bruises, 

Trying to forget, making excuses;

Stranger in a body, who's feeling trapped,

 Emotions and opinions have been kidnapped;

What is the meaning of life anymore?

When your wing has broken and heart has torn,

Truth, Hurt, Wrong, Lies; 

For now, I can never fly.
